// DATA DELETION
Data Deletion Instructions
App: theStackExplained (App ID 2073142690009296) · Last updated: 12 October 2026
The only personal data our app keeps is a short record created when you comment the keyword NOTES on an @thestackexplained post: your Instagram-scoped ID, your username, and the ID/text reference of that comment. It exists only to make sure you receive the cheat sheet once.
Automatic deletion
Every record is deleted automatically 90 days after it is created. You do not need to do anything.
Request deletion now
- Email abdulrehmankhan20101998@gmail.com with the subject “Data deletion request”, or send a direct message to @thestackexplained on Instagram saying “delete my data”.
- Include your Instagram username so we can find your record.
- We delete all records linked to that username or ID within 30 days (usually within 48 hours) and confirm by reply.
Removing the app’s access
Our app only accesses our own Instagram business account; it has no login and no access to your account. You can also delete your comment on Instagram at any time, and you can manage data Meta holds about you in your Instagram settings (Accounts Center).
